About the Role

Vac Truck Operator - Responsible for the effective use, operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment whilst providing high quality customer service and maintaining an excellent working relationship with the client's site representative/s.

As a trainee, you will learn how to conduct Non-Destructive Digging services as directed by your manager and site representative/s. Provide transport for waste material product from customer sites to recycling facilities. Conduct daily prestarts and maintenance of vehicles, equipment and to promote a safe work environment by following proper safety protocols.

Labourer - General labouring duties, driving the tipper, backfilling, offsiding with the vac truck.

Selection Criteria

Essential

  • Hold a current unrestricted Heavy Rigid (HR) license (Vac Truck Operator) and Car (C) licence for labourer
  • White Card
  • Ability to pass a medical and drug and alcohol screen

Desirable

  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Working with Confined Space and Working at Heights Tickets
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Rail Industry Worker card or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience working as a Vac Truck Operator
