What You'll Do:

As an FPGA Engineer at the forefront of high-speed trading, you'll design and deploy cutting-edge hardware systems that operate in nanoseconds. Your work will directly influence real-time trading outcomes by enabling ultra-low latency market data processing and execution logic.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Architecting FPGA-based systems for parsing market data and executing trades
  • Translating strategy requirements into hardware logic alongside traders and devs
  • Analyzing and optimizing performance from transceivers to logic layout
  • Building robust simulation and testing environments for reliability
  • Monitoring real-time performance and refining designs through profiling
  • Researching and implementing emerging technologies for continuous edge

About You:

  • 5+ years' experience in FPGA design, preferably in trading or high-speed systems
  • Strong background in Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog
  • Skilled in Python, C++, or C for co-design and system integration
  • Deep understanding of digital design concepts including pipelining and CDC
  • Familiarity with exchange protocols (FIX, OUCH, ITCH)
  • Comfortable with Vivado, Quartus, or Synplify toolchains
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP, UDP and low-latency networking techniques
  • Passionate about innovation and performance tuning
