THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available at Stratco Mid North Coast for a MR Truck Driver based in Port Macquarie.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck
  • Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
  • Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
  • Maintain vehicle and driver log
  • Liaise with Despatch team and customers on delivery issues and delays
  • Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
  • Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
  • Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

  • Essential – Medium Rigid Licence & driving experience (MR)
  • Desirable – experience operating a truck mounted crane
  • Willingness to work metro and country runs
  • Strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
  • Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
  • Strong customer service & verbal communication skills
  • Enjoys working autonomously
  • Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
  • It'll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
