About the role

Become a Solar Installer with GSA GROUP PTY LTD' and be part of the growing renewable energy industry. This full-time or Subcontract role is based in Townsville, QLD 4810 and will see you installing state-of-the-art solar panels and assisting with other electrical work.

What you'll be doing

  • Install solar panels and other renewable energy equipment
  • Perform electrical work such as wiring, testing, and maintenance
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
  • Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all installations
  • Collaborate with the team to identify ways to improve processes and efficiency

What we're looking for

  • Qualified electrician with experience in the solar industry
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Commitment to safety and a strong focus on quality
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • A team player with the ability to work independently when required
  • Accreditation in Grid Connected PV systems (GCPV), Grid Connected Battery Systems (GCBS)
