Full Time Temporary Position

Situated within moments of the CBD, International Grammar School (IGS) is Sydney's unique independent, coeducational, secular school offering quality teaching from Preschool to Year 12. Our unique bilingual program immerses students in a second language every day.

We are now seeking to appoint an experienced Ancient History Teacher to work in Term on a full time temporary basis to cover a member of staff on leave. The ideal candidate will also have experience teaching Extension History.

The ideal candidate will have well-developed skills in using ICT for authentic and meaningful learning.They will also have a strong academic background, be an exemplary role model of professionalism and collegiality, and will perform their role with integrity, enthusiasm and energy.

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold an appropriate tertiary qualification. The successful applicant will become part of a supportive and inclusive team that values staff well-being and offers opportunities for professional development and training.
