SYC has been selected as a provider of Inclusive Employment Australia, a new specialist disability employment program.

SYC is a non-profit organisation with a long history of supporting people with disability to access meaningful employment, delivering a quality service, building sustainable careers. We're deeply committed to our community working alongside clients, partners, and staff to help people succeed.

As part of this new program, we're expanding our team.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Employment Coach to empower participants by helping them understand their individual circumstances, build confidence and skills, and connect with tailored employment opportunities.

We're looking for team members who:

  • Want to make a difference in supporting people with disability
  • Are collaborative and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Thrive in a dynamic, people focused environment
  • Want to be part of an organisation committed to helping people succeed
  • Can work alongside our clients, employers and partners to achieve positive outcomes

Experience working with people with disability in roles like support work, case management, or employment services is highly regarded. We also welcome those with transferable skills from other sectors, such as education, customer service, community services, sales, or coaching. If you're driven to make a difference and support others to succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

Key screening requirements:

  • All successful applicants must be willing to complete relevant employment screening and to maintain requisite clearances or checks as required.
