Koppers Wood Products are looking for an experienced, capable and confident Office Manager All Rounder for an initial 3 month contract at our Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay.

About the role

Reporting to the Business Manager, your diverse range of skills and experience will enable you to manage the day to day running of our busy office. You'll provide a high level of administrative, financial and secretarial support to office and plant personnel, including:

  • Reception, customer service and 'confident face of the office'
  • Update JSAs, SOPs, document registers and backlog of compliance documents
  • Maintain company records, training manuals and registers
  • Assist with compliance documentation for current audit review
  • Maintain supplier accounts, yard-sheet processes, freight equalisation & liaise with contractors
  • Financial administration – set up new vendors, banking and aged debtors, PO processing, stocktake etc
  • Assist Customer Service Manager with processing Sales Orders as required
  • Reporting requirements & reconciliations for end of month
  • Assist Business Manager with Profit & Loss analysis as required
  • Comply with all WHS requirements, activities & initiatives, monitor incidents, tasks & internal audits
  • Schedule meetings, medicals, staff training; assist with onboarding and inductions

What are we looking for

  • 5yrs+ experience in a similar position (similar industry ideal)
  • Quick learner, confident with your ability to hit the ground running
  • Strong financial acumen/purchasing & stock control
  • Experience with Cost Centre Accounting & Accounts Management
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Process Control, Review & Corrective Action
  • Strong work safety experience & awareness
  • Confident communicator with all levels of staff & stakeholders, ability to build rapport quickly
  • Experience or understanding of operating within a compliance-heavy industry
  • Use of CRM/ERP/Safety/HRIS systems ideal
