As a growing and ever evolving ecommerce brand, we are looking for the best and brightest to join our Production and Design team in order to grow the Leina & Fleur brand.
Leina & Fleur is an established women's wear label operating out of our light and spacious Burleigh Heads factory/design studio. We design and manufacture all product within Australia. Due to an internal promotion within the team, we are keen to welcome an experienced Garment Sewing Machinist into the fold to assist us with achieving development samples and small production runs.
We sell our proudly Australian designed and made product purely through our online website
The successful candidate will be able to operate industrial sewing machines to construct complete high quality garments in various fabrics. You will work directly with our Design & Production team to ensure high quality construction of our products to meet our required timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complete full garment development and photoshoot samples
- Complete production garment restocks - small quantities
- Complete basic repairs
Required skills and competencies:
- Solid garment construction knowledge and experience, working with a variety of fabrics is required. Handling stretch jersey fabric is mandatory
- Attention to detail to deliver a high quality completed garment is important to you
- Able to focus on given tasks and perform in a timely manner
- Able to work efficiently & unsupervised
- Confident and respectful communicator
