We are seeking an energetic, highly skilled and experienced Educational Leader to join our passionate team at our amazing service Children First Early Education Lightsview on a permanent part-time contract, working 37.5 hours per week

You will be provided with professional development opportunities, a supportive Management team, and the opportunity to grow within our company.

Your passion and enthusiasm will see you mentoring our team by effectively engaging with children, families, educators, and the wider community

About your new role:

  • Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
  • Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
  • Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
  • Implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
  • Work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.
  • Contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests, including a clear cycle of reflective practice.

A little about you:

  • Diploma or working towards higher qualification in Children's Services as approved by ACECQA.
  • Current WWCC, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
  • Experience in an early childhood setting.
  • A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers.
  • The ability to implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF.
  • The ability to observe and record children's learning and contribute to their educational portfolios.
