The exciting opportunity:

• Work across Residential and Home Car in the organisations' Southern Residential sites and community settings
• Manage a diverse caseload of clients requiring occupational therapy intervention
• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments to optimise activities of daily living, wellbeing and leisure
• Design and implement individualised treatment programs based on physical and psychosocial functioning
• Provide education and training to clients, families and staff on specialised devices and equipment
• Prepare specialist documentation for home modifications and assistive technology prescriptions
• Function as a Case Manager with therapeutic interventions, education and counselling
• Supervise Allied Health Assistants and students, contributing to team development

About you:

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
• Experience working as an OT, ideally in aged care or community health settings
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, OHS legislation, Accreditation Standards and funding models
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to coach and support others
• Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
