The Role

We are re seeking an Environmental Consultant to lead stakeholder engagement and environmental assessments across agriculture, water and climate projects. You'll connect technical experts with communities and industry, ensuring diverse voices shape solutions for sustainable resource management.

What You'll Do

  • Lead engagement strategies and build strong relationships with farmers, councils and industry.
  • Evaluate and advise on policies affecting the design and delivery of environmental programs.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and consultations.
  • Carry out environmental and social impact assessments and recommend solutions to reduce impacts.
  • Analyse data on pollution, soil, water, biodiversity and climate factors.
  • Contribute to conservation and management policies for land, water and biological resources.
  • Translate technical findings into clear, plain-English reports and presentations.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Ecology, Agricultural Science, Policy, Social Science or similar (postgrad highly regarded).
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, consultation or environmental consulting.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse groups.
