Can Speak Canberra Speech Pathology is a dynamic, client-focused clinic dedicated to helping children and families achieve their communication goals. We are currently seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Receptionist to join our team and help provide exceptional service to our clients and support our clinicians. This is a full time role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Reception: Welcome clients and visitors to the clinic with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment bookings, confirmations, and rescheduling for clients, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
  • Phone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address client inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Administration: Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Billing and Payments: Assist with processing payments, invoicing, and managing client accounts.
  • Support Team: Provide administrative support to the speech pathologists and clinic staff as needed.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred (but not essential)
  • A friendly, warm, and welcoming personality
  • A genuine interest in supporting others and contributing to the success of the team
