Diesel Mechanic – Prime Movers (Full-Time)

TRS Resourcing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic for a full-time position commissioning, servicing, and repairing prime movers based at clients' workshops in the North Suburbs of Melbourne.

What We Offer

  • Salary up to $120,000 p.a., depending on experience
  • Permanent full-time role (no labour-hire conversion period)
  • Work within a large fleet/maintenance environment

About the Role You'll be responsible for:

  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy prime movers
  • Diagnosing mechanical faults and initiating corrective actions
  • Component rebuilding and major mechanical work
  • Operating either independently or within a team environment

What You'll Have

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in the prime-mover or trailer/heavy-vehicle industry
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
  • Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team to high productivity and safety standards
  • Based in Victoria (Melbourne region) or willing to relocate
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Reference contact details for at least two past employers
