About the Role

As a Compiler/Classifier, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely customs clearance for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Classifying, valuing, and compiling Customs entries
  • Preparing entries and lodging documents for Customs and DAFF
  • Handling queries from ABF and DAFF
  • Attending to customer communications and responding to enquiries
  • Advising clients on tariff classification, duty rates, tariff concession orders, valuation, and origin requirements
  • Keeping up to date with customs regulations and industry changes
  • Delivering exceptional service to our customers

What You'll Need to Succeed

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • 1-2 years' experience in a compiler/classifier role within Australia
  • DAFF accreditation must be held at the time of application
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian Customs Tariff, valuation methodologies, and Incoterms
  • Minimum 6 months experience with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding systems is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Full working rights in Australia
