- Application of protective coatings including treatment of bare metal, painting, varnish, and Sermetal coatings by spray application.
- Assist with engineering the creation of repair work scopes for specific parts including the sequence of operations and tooling requirements.
- Manufacturing of tooling, jigs, and fixtures in accordance with detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Manufacture of small components (sleeves, etc.) in accordance with detail parts drawings.
- Ensure tool control is maintained as per procedures (to include equipment asset inventory).
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all departments at all levels.
- Prepare components that require protective coatings by use of blasting machines, de-greasing, and masking.

Ideally, but not essential, you will have experience on PT6 engine models along with a working knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada publications including overhaul and maintenance manuals, parts catalogues, and service bulletins. Applicants with relevant skills from a non-aviation background will also be considered.
You need to be committed to being a highly customer-focused team worker, who can demonstrate flexibility when required, be motivated, and willing to take on new initiatives. You will also be a self-starter and have excellent communication skills.

- 9-Day fortnight
- Clean, safe working environment with a close-knit team
- Training and career development opportunities
- Social activities including participation in community support events
