About the Role

As a Casual Café All-Rounder, you will be an essential part of the Deckhouse team, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience. Your role will involve delivering professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service, adapting to the varied operational needs of our busy café and function centre.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, professional, and friendly service to all customers.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffees and a range of beverages consistently.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar, café, and dining areas.
  • Ensure all equipment, especially coffee machines, is well-maintained and functional.
  • Adhere to all Deckhouse policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a café or hospitality environment, ideally as an all-rounder.
  • Demonstrated barista skills with a passion for coffee.
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is mandatory.
  • Availability for breakfast, lunch, and weekend shifts.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent personal presentation.
  • Reliability and punctuality are crucial, especially for early morning and weekend shifts.
