About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a  Registrar Support Officer who will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless experience for students. By expertly managing a variety of student requests, this role contributes to the efficiency of the registrar's office. Beyond that, the position involves a dynamic array of administrative tasks, all executed with precision and in strict adherence to established policies, procedures, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and evaluate Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) requests
• Process and manage cross-institutional study applications efficiently
• Handle requests for academic documents promptly and accurately
• Assist in the handling of grievances, complaints, and appeals
• Field questions relating to issues pertaining to student enrolment and course progress
• Assist with administrative aspects of the Unsatisfactory Course Progress process, including issuing of letters to students and preparation of appeal documents
• Conduct trimester-based and ad hoc data analysis regarding key request types and create informative and articulate reports to be reviewed by various senior personnel

Requirements

• 1 year experience in student services, administration or operational role within the education industry (essential)
• Bachelor-level qualification or higher (essential)
• Excellent reporting and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Knowledge of academic systems such as Moodle, Turnitin and Gradebook (desirable)
