At AMS Constructions, we're not just building structures; we're building a strong, vibrant team that's passionate about what we do With exciting projects underway, we're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office & Accounts Administrator to join us full-time. This is a newly created role to provide additional support to the business while our current Administrator is on maternity leave, with the potential for long-term opportunities.

What You'll Do:

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll take ownership of day-to-day office administration as well as key finance and communications responsibilities, including:

  • Managing phone and email enquiries
  • Assisting with scheduling, meetings, and travel bookings
  • Document preparation, filing, and general office support
  • Coordinating office supplies and maintaining records
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable for our Fitout branch
  • Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Social media management – posting updates, assisting with content, and helping grow our online presence
  • Collaborating with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

About You:

  • Previous experience in office administration or accounts support (AP/AR experience highly regarded)
  • Experience with Xero (preferred) or other accounting software
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Confident using social media platforms in a business context
  • Positive, professional, and proactive attitude
