First Class Towing & Transport is seeking a Truck Driver to join our team in Laverton North, VIC. This is a full-time position that offers plenty of variety and interesting challenges. Competitive hourly rates for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing:

  • Safely operate and manoeuvre a small tray truck and trailer to transport Access Equipment (EWP), small machinery and other equipment to and from construction sites.
  • Ensure the proper loading, securing and unloading of loads in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients and suppliers.

What we're looking for:

  • A valid Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence.
  • At least 1 year of experience driving trucks.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle operation, load restraint and transport regulations.
  • Experience loading and unloading EWP & machinery but not essential.
  • Excellent driving history with a keen eye for safety.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Good personal presentation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility in relation to hours worked (early starts/after hours/weekend work).
  • EWP license very advantageous but not essential.
  • Forklift license very advantageous but not essential.
