About the role

Downs Club Incorporated is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House team member to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patrons and ensuring the smooth running of our front-of-house operations in our Toowoomba, Queensland location.

What you'll be doing

  • Warmly greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival
  • Efficiently seating customers and managing table reservations
  • Providing prompt and attentive table service, taking orders and delivering meals and drinks
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy dining area, replenishing supplies as needed
  • Handling cash and processing payments with accuracy
  • Assisting with general front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a similar environment
  • A genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people from all backgrounds
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • A positive, energetic and team-oriented attitude
