Technical Services Officer

Airport Development Group (ADG) is on the lookout for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Technical Services team at Darwin International Airport. About the Role

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and minor installations
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support a range of complex airport systems
• Assist with airfield lighting and commercial operations maintenance
• Use our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log and track work
• Keep the technical workshop to high safety and housekeeping standards
• Take part in on-call rotations and rostered shifts
• Support special projects and maintenance planning activities as needed
• This is a hands-on, varied role that requires problem-solving, independence, and teamwork ideal for electricians who want more than just repetitive maintenance work.

About you

• NT Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (Required)
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostics capability
• Airside Driver Licence – Category IV (or willingness to obtain)
• Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (or eligibility to obtain)
• Solid understanding of electrical plans and schematics
• Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
• Willingness to work a rotating roster with on-call duties
• Basic computer literacy (CMMS, email, reporting)

It's a Bonus If You Have:

• Experience working in airports or aviation environments
• Familiarity with airport lighting and control systems
• EWP Licence
