About the Company & Role:
Our client is a Global Leader in Water, Waste, and Environmental Management, with over 40 years of experience delivering essential services across Australia.
They're currently on the lookout for a Plant Operator to join their team in an ongoing full-time role, with a strong chance of going permanent.
Monday to Friday, Morning Shift 6am–2pm / Afternoon Shift 12pm–8pm
Duties:
- Test water samples for ammonia, pH, turbidity, and conductivity in onsite lab
- Log results using Excel to track data and operations
- Use the SCADA system to monitor and control plant processes
- Manual labour - lifting up to 20kg
- Operate pumps and valves out in the field
- Keep machinery clean and in top shape with daily equipment checks
- Direct plant traffic so tankers can unload smoothly
- Handle plant start-up and shut-down procedures
Skills & Experience:
- Plant or operator experience - highly regarded
- Water treatment knowledge - highly regarded
- Strong safety mindset
- Able to work solo or in a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Forklift license - highly regarded
- Confined space ticket - highly regarded
