Cartage Coordinator

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced FCL Cartage Coordinator to join our team based in Tullamarine.

Responsibilities

• Book deliveries with internal or external transport providers
• Monitor availability of freight both internally and externally
• Confirm delivery availability with clients
• Liaise regularly with clients on delivery specifics including time, location, any special services required
• Manage client queries and provide assistance as required
• Prepare and issue client invoices
• Process creditor invoices

Requirements

• Previous experience in a FCL cartage position within a freight forwarder required
• Cargowise experience preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Time management, prioritisation skills, numerical competence with good attention to detail
• Problem solving skills with the ability to make decisions and proactively inform stakeholders
• Co-operative working style and customer focused to build strong relationships
