Company Description
At McConnell Bourn, we are driven to maximise the performance of our clients' assets. With a commitment to excellence, innovation, and client-focus service, we provide a seamless and strategic property experience tailored to the needs of a dynamic and evolving market. With offices located across the North Shore, City, and Eastern Suburbs of Greater Sydney, we partner with property owners, landlords, and investors to deliver outstanding results in both property management and sales.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and driven Leasing & Business Development Executive to join our dynamic property management team at our Head Office on Sydney's North Shore.
This hybrid role combines end-to-end leasing operations with a strong focus on business development. You will not only manage residential tenancies with professionalism and care but also play a key role in identifying new property opportunities, analysing market trends, and building strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about real estate, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys both client-facing service and strategic growth work.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute residential property management plans, ensuring smooth lease management, rent collection, property maintenance, and timely tenant support.
• Consolidate & analyse rental market insights: collect and synthesise market rental dynamics, analyse supply-demand trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to support the team's decision-making processes.
• Source and onboard new listings: proactively identify potential rental properties, initiate negotiations with owners, secure management agreements, and prepare all necessary steps to list properties effectively.
• Maintain high-quality client communication: deliver professional leasing consultation to both landlords and tenants, ensuring efficient matching of their needs and cultivating long-term relationships.
• Coordinate end-to-end leasing processes: manage the entire tenancy lifecycle—from drafting leases and facilitating tenant move-ins to conducting property handovers—providing comprehensive support at every stage.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies in all leasing transactions, documentation, and property management operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, maintenance, marketing, and legal teams to align processes, optimise workflows, and enhance overall service delivery.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including market research, competitor analysis, and promotional campaigns to grow the agency's rental portfolio and brand presence.
What We Offer
• Competitive base salary + commission structure
• Strong support from a professional team
• Exposure to a high-performing real estate environment
• Ongoing training and growth opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds a current Certificate of Registration (COR) in Real Estate
• Has a valid driver's licence and own vehicle
• Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Is proactive, well-organised, and detail-focused
• Can work Saturdays as part of the inspection schedule
• Has valid Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or valid visa)
Salary Package
$60,000 - $ 80,000 Annual Salary Package Inclusive Superannuation
Plus Extra Commission
