We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic individual to support a variety of client and in-house video/audio podcast and content creation (written & graphic design) projects.

It may be anywhere from 2-4 hours a week at the start, and depending on many factors would continue to become more work (hours) in the near future.

The main thing is that you have a strong interest of media/content/video/audio production creation, flows, schedules, and systems that vary across our clients and internally with Pod Paste.

  • We are a diverse, laid back and globally flexible team of mostly remote contractors that value and respect everyone's time.
  • We started in 2018 and want to make high-quality and engaging podcasts for (mostly medical, health & fitness) brands and companies to help tell stories to the world.
  • Available on regular business days/hours (Mon-Fri 9 am - 6 pm) but you can work whenever suits your life/style.
  • Compensation - Starts at $39/hr on a job-by-job basis (expect 2-4 hours per week, increasing as client work will increase)
  • You will come on as a freelance contractor
  • It will be great for a mid-level freelancer or stay-at-home parent wanting to re-enter the workforce.

Skills, Traits and Equipment

  • Excellent communication, extremely organised and great time management
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong understanding of Google Drive (Docs & Sheets), and Dropbox. Asana and Slack a bonus.
  • Your own laptop with fast and reliable internet access
  • A consumer of content: ie an avid listener of podcasts/YouTube, reader of blogs and understanding of social media content.
  • Consistent availability (we work with your schedule and life)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in basic audio and video editing
  • Understanding of podcast writing/narrative podcasts
  • Keep up with technology and pop culture trends
  • Marketing & advertising industry and technologies
  • Social media content marketing
  • Avid fitness enthusiast/endurance athlete/runner
  • Graphic design (Canva experience is fine, Figma/Photoshop even better)
  • WordPress and Basic HTML/CSS/JS experience

Location

  • You must be located within a 45-minute train/bus/car ride of the CBD of Sydney, Australia.
  • This is an 80-90% remote, work-from-home position with once every 1-2 months required to be in the office or on site on a video/podcast shoot (this is on a case-by-case basis)
  • Flexibility: Get your work done on your time and what works best for you hour responses and general communication is regular and encouraged)
