About the role:

To be successful in the Assistant Club Manager role you will:

  • Provide member and operational support to the Club Manager and Team

  • Meet and greet potential and existing members

  • Undertake outreach; promotional and lead generation activities

  • Work with the team to achieve KPIs, sales targets and maintain our current metric ratings

  • Contribute to the team culture

  • Actively and proactively promote the Anytime Fitness brand and image within the local community

Skills & Requirements:

  • To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • A member focused outlook

  • A desire to work in lead generation; promotional outreach and sales

  • Previous experience in the sales and retention of health club memberships is not essential but will assist candidates

  • Successful candidates will have strong people and time management skills, love health and fitness, have the desire to learn and grow, and possess keen organisational skills / ability to work under pressure

  • To be a proactive "jack-of-all-trades" and ready to join a supportive and close-knit team

  • A passion for promoting health and fitness in our communities

  • An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Computer literate with solid working knowledge of the Microsoft suite is important, including but not limited to; Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

Qualifications:

  • Current first aid

  • Police check

  • Working with Children Check

Please note: Flexible hours and Saturday shifts are required for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,900.00 – $55,000.00 per year
