Hussy's Kebabs located in university of Newcastle, Callaghan campus is seeking a an experienced fast food attendant in a popular and fast-paced kebab shop.

You will be required to do the following tasks & duties:

• Set up workstations with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Preparation and cooking of all meats and salads.
• Provide training & supervision and coordinate activities of kitchen staffs and other cooks.
• Maintain Stock rotation, food safety & minimising wastage
• Daily, Weekly & Monthly cleaning of kitchen and storeroom
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and keep a sanitised and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensuring all food operations are compliant with relevant regulations and COVID safety management

Skills Required:

• Must have full-time working experience in fast food or hospitality
• Cook in a fast-paced kitchen whilst maintaining effective communication with the team
• Good working knowledge of safety & Hygiene, and WHS standards
• Team player with a passion to serve authentic Indian cuisine of excellent standard

Qualifications/Experience Required:

• At least 2 years culinary experience in Indian cuisine in a commercial kitchen
