About The Role:

We are seeking a strong, passionate & reliable food Production Cook, who is willing to work well autonomously and as part of a team, to help us to continue creating and delivering gourmet ready meals and food products for our stores across Perth. This role is expected to start immediately on a casual basis at our Curtin University store.

Tucker Fresh IGA located at Curtin University requires a strong, passionate & reliable food production cook who is willing to work well autonomously and as part of a team to help us to continue creating and delivering gourmet ready meals and food products for our stores across Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking sauces/garnishes using a Bratt pan across a high scale volume for our gourmet grab and go range.
  • Cooking, chilling and packaging meals in accordance with the food health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensuring stock is constantly fully rotated accordingly.
  • Always maintaining a clean, safe and healthy working environment.
  • Clean and wash all kitchen supplies, including dishes, pots & pans etc.
  • Basic ingredient processing, including fruit and vegetables etc.

The ideal candidate will be able to showcase these skills and perform the following duties:

  • Able to multitask, work fast and with a sense of urgency.
  • Able to follow recipes and cook to a consistent specification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Work closely alongside the team in minimising wastage to reduce food costs.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
