Bid Manager

Role Overview
Reason Group is looking for a highly organised and commercially savvy
Bid Manager
to drive the end-to-end coordination of major bids and tender submissions across Australian Government and enterprise clients. This role is critical to helping Reason Group grow and win meaningful business and digital transformation work. You'll work closely with our executive, delivery, business development and operations teams to shape compelling proposals that reflect our capabilities, values, and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the bid process end-to-end — from opportunity qualification, bid planning, and response coordination through to submission and post-bid review.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (delivery, presales, partners, executives) to develop strong, compliant, and timely submissions.
• Own the bid schedule, ensuring clarity on deliverables, contributors, and review gates (e.g. storyboarding, reviews, executive sign-off).
• Shape compelling narratives that align with client objectives, procurement rules, and Reason Group's service offerings, while maintaining a consistent tone and style.
• Manage proposal content and artefacts including CVs, case studies, response templates, compliance matrices, and standard collateral.
• Drive continuous improvement in our bid processes — including templates, win themes, reusable content libraries, and feedback loops.
• Ensure compliance with all tender requirements, including contractual terms, governance, and relevant Commonwealth/State procurement frameworks.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Proven experience managing bids or major proposal responses in consulting, digital services, or government procurement environments.
• Strong understanding of Australian Government tendering frameworks (e.g. ICT Panels, Local Jobs First, Commonwealth Procurement Rules).
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to distil technical information into compelling, client-focused narratives.
• Highly organised with excellent time and stakeholder management, able to juggle multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Collaborative and proactive — comfortable coordinating senior stakeholders and driving progress in complex environments.
• Highly efficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle technology offering for content is a plus.
