About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager for Ward 2C, our 28 bed Orthopaedic Ward. As a Nurse Unit Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team of nurses who strive to deliver exceptional patient care while driving innovation and excellence in the care of orthopaedic patients. 2C manages patients from both elective and emergency admission steams and the NALHN Orthopaedic team has been recognised for their excellence by receiving an Australia wide Golden Hip Award for provision of care to fracture hip patients.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will:

  • provide clinical leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices, ensuring the highest standards of patient care
  • manage staffing resources effectively, ensuring efficient and cost-effective service delivery
  • contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and protocols aligned with best practices
  • promote a positive and supportive work environment that values diversity, inclusion and staff well-being

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
