Melbourne City Toyota is one of the largest Toyota groups in Australia with 4 locations - Camberwell, Heidelberg, South Melbourne & CBD plus Melbourne City Lexus with 2 locations in the CBD and Essendon fields.

We are looking for Apprentice Motor mechanic's to become part of the team at anyone of our 6 sites. Start your mechanical career and  "be part of something bigger".

BASED IN anyone of our Six dealerships. Whichever one is closest to your home you will work at. You will not be shifted around between sites.

  • 611 Elizabeth Street Melbourne.
  • 610 Camberwell Road Camberwell.
  • 217 Normanby Road South Melbourne.
  • 473 Lower Heidelberg Road Heidelberg.
  • 501 Swanston Street Melbourne (Lexus CBD).
  • 325 Wirraway Road Essendon Fields. (Lexus)

This unique opportunity is for Apprentices who want to join the largest Toyota / Lexus Group in Australia.

These positions will suit individual's who are willing to work hard, want to join an ever changing industry, be part of a highly successful company and want to work at a high standard for these busy and successful service workshop's.

If you are still at school and you are keen to finish your schooling this year, we are ok with that. If you are successful  you can start work after school is finished.

The right applicants will have an unbelievable opportunity to start their careers in the automotive industry. The only way is up.

The apprentice training will take place at Toyota's "Center of excellence" in Altona. This is a fantastic state of the art facility that helps all apprentices reach their full potential.

The level you achieve will only be limited by your work ethic and enthusiasm.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Enthusiasm and attitude.
  • Excellent practical skills
  • You are keen to become a qualified mechanic.
  • The ability to work quickly with attention to detail.
  • Sound PC skills.
  • You must have Australian residency status.
  • Enthusiasm and attitude.

Qualifications and Experience:

No previous experience is required however you will need to demonstrate a mechanical aptitude and a proof of enthusiasm for the role.

Drivers license is a must or close to.
