Protech are looking for experienced HR Advisor to perform work with our tier-one mining client, located in the Northern Territory on an 8/6 FIFO Roster

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Immediate Start
  • Casual Contractor Position
  • Point of Hire: Darwin, Alice Springs, Brisbane or Perth
  • 8/6
  • 12 Hours Paid per Shift
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $83 per hour
  • Super on All Hours
  • Weekly Pay

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the business with timely, accurate and flexible HR services delivering HR practice, procedure, systems, legislative advice, employment contracts and salary administration.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles to all operational aspects of HR's service delivery.
  • Work in collaboration with the Regional Human Resources Australia team to ensure timely accurate and provision for the site through effective processing of employee associated documentation that requires administering.
  • Provide a proactive HR service by attending various site meetings to keep people informed of HR initiatives.
  • Ensure all employee records and relevant information is up to date in the appropriate databases.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven HR experience in a mining or remote site environment
  • Ability to resolve conflict and manage investigations
  • To manage time effectively, be task oriented and able to set goals with sound administrative skills
  • Be a trusted partner in driving a positive workplace culture
  • Strong communication and advisory skills
  • Exceptional Microsoft Suite Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (Validity: within 3 months)
  • Valid & Contactable References
