About the Opportunity

A leading gold producer in Western Australia is seeking a highly capable Process Manager to lead and optimise its processing operations. This role is critical to the delivery of sustainable, efficient, and safe gold production, while upholding the highest standards of operational performance and regulatory compliance.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader with deep processing expertise to make a significant impact on the success of one of the state's key gold projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the safe, sustainable, and cost-effective processing of ore to achieve production targets.
  • Minimise downtime by overseeing effective planning, operational management, and proactive maintenance schedules.
  • Partner closely with Maintenance teams to ensure plant performance and reliability.
  • Develop, mentor, and support the Processing team to achieve peak performance, build capability, and enable succession planning.
  • Deliver against operating and capital budgets, forecast effectively, and drive continuous improvement strategies.
  • Ensure safety leadership by promoting a strong culture of accountability, risk management, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Safeguard environmental performance with strict regulatory adherence across processing, tailings, and laboratory activities.
  • Deputise for the General Manager Operations when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy or Mineral Processing (desirable).
  • 10+ years of operational experience within processing plants, including 5+ years in a senior leadership position.
  • Background in gold extraction operations and/or sulphide flotation (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Strong leadership credentials with proven ability in team development, coaching, and accountability.
  • Sound financial, operational, and safety management skills with a track record of delivering results.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, coupled with organisational strength and attention to detail.

Required Certifications & Licences:

  • BSBWHS411 – Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs.
  • RIIRIS402E – Carry out the risk management process.
  • Passed DMIRS Schedule 26 Statutory Examination.
  • Current "C" Class Western Australian Driver's Licence.
