About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hospitality superstar to take the next step in your career as a Food & Beverage Team Leader. You will effectively oversee the day-to-day F&B operations to elevate the guest experience and deliver a high standard of quality service.
You will be adaptable with a 'can-do' attitude. As a team leader, you'll lead by example, be committed to best practice, display a passion for hospitality and motivate the team to deliver great service.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll be an integral part of our Food & Beverage team and your key responsibilities for the role include:
Providing 'hands on' leadership and ensure the team deliver a consistent high standard of customer service
Directing and assisting F&B Attendants to carry out the daily duties required to operate the outlet
Liaising between Management, kitchens, conference and events, bar and staff to proactively prevent issues arising and effectively resolve issues as they occur
Balancing the float and takings and completing the end of day reports
Minimise breakages, wastage of food, beverage and consumable goods
Manage difficult situations including customer complaints and intoxicated guests
Ensuring staff complete training requirements
Report hazards & risks to maintain a safe workplace
Ability to perform physical requirements of the role, eg working on your feet & heavy lifting
What you'll need to be successful
Previous experience in a food & beverage team leader role with in a 4-5 resort or similar environment
Certificate III or IV qualification in hospitality, desirable
RSA Certificate, essential
Demonstrated ability to lead a team to follow procedures and provide on-the-job training
Barista, food & beverage knowledge & skills
Knowledge of food & beverage procedures, sequence of service, table settings, order taking, bookings, billings & POS experience
Strong communication, attention to detail, time management and conflict resolution skills
Excellent personal presentation
