About the role

Power and Mining Services are seeking an experienced Hands-On Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background as a Light Vehicle Mechanic to lead our workshop operations. This is a working supervisor role, you'll be actively performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of light vehicles.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our fleet and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, while fostering a safe, efficient, and high-performing workshop environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on maintenance, service, and repair work on light vehicles.
  • Supervise, support, workshop operations and field service operations.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
  • Manage inventory, parts ordering, and workshop tools.
  • Maintain accurate service records and report on maintenance activities.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example.

About You

  • Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leading hand role.
  • Strong technical skills in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Able to work hands-on while managing daily workshop operations.
  • Current driver's license and Fork Lift
