About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Kookora Surgery in Griffith, NSW. This is a casual position, providing you with flexibility to balance your work and personal life.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing exceptional customer service to patients, both in person and on the phone
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient flow of patients through the practice
  • Handling patient enquiries and providing information about the practice's services
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files
  • Assisting with the administrative tasks required to support the smooth running of the medical practice

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient appointment scheduling
  • Proficiency in using medical practice management software and general office applications
  • A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Prior experience with Accounts and daily banking
