Job Description

The School of Applied Psychology is one of Australia's leading schools for teaching, research and professional training in psychology, with a strong commitment to advancing knowledge that improves lives and strengthens communities.

As a Lecturer (Clinical Psychology), you'll play a vital role in supporting the next generation of clinical and professional psychologists through excellence in teaching, supervision and practice. Here's how you'll make it matter:

• Deliver innovative, evidence-based teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to postgraduate clinical and professional psychology students.
• Coordinate courses and contribute to the design and delivery of authentic, student-centred learning experiences.
• Contribute to the development and management of student placement opportunities, including internal and external placements.
• Engage in scholarly activities that enhance teaching practice and promote best-practice training in clinical psychology.

This is a continuing, part-time position (60%, 3 days p/w) primarily based at either the Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan) campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you will be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary Range

The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $113,226 - $134,460 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $132,474 - $157,318 per annum.

Qualifications

You will also have:

• A PhD (or equivalent doctoral qualification) in clinical psychology or a related field.
• Current registration as a psychologist (AHPRA) with area-of-practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
• Endorsement as a Board-Approved Supervisor (Psychology Board of Australia).
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality, evidence-based teaching and clinical supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive student and stakeholder relationships.
