The Opportunity

We are looking for a Parts Interpreter for our Devonport Branch.

To be successful, you will be a confident self-starter and have a passion for agricultural and small construction machinery, an open mind for the rural lifestyle and demonstrate the following attributes.

As Parts Interpreter, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing sales and service of parts to customers
  • Ordering stock
  • Receipting stock
  • Picking and packing freight
  • Answering phone calls
  • Assisting the workshop staff with the purchase of parts for machinery
  • Maintaining stock levels in the showroom
  • Stocktaking, inventory and warehouse maintenance
  • Updating the system in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy
  • Assist all customers with sales queries

Person Specification

As a successful Parts Interpreter, you will have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to think clearly, analyse data and act accordingly
  • Problem-solving skills
  • An ability to manage your workload to achieve set outcomes
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills
  • Computer software experience
  • An ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and limited supervision
  • Be a team player who works with initiative, commitment and a positive attitude
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments.
  • Must have a driver's licence
