About the RoleTeeny Tiny Homes is growing fast, and we're looking for a high-energy, customer-obsessed Sales Consultant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely loves helping customers, is confident in guiding people through significant decisions, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a high level of variety.
You'll handle enquiries, walkthroughs, pricing conversations, and guide customers from initial interest right through to sale. You'll work closely with our design, production, accounts, customer service and approvals teams to ensure every customer receives a seamless, premium experience consistent with the Teeny Tiny Homes brand.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
- Respond promptly to all incoming enquiries (phone, SMS, online, walk-ins)
- Conduct showroom walkthroughs and virtual appointments
- Assess customer needs and match them to appropriate models and layouts
- Prepare accurate, detailed quotes using TTH pricing tools and current promotions
- Proactively follow up on quotes and maintain a strong conversion pipeline
- Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction
- Work with customers to clarify layout needs, extras, and inclusions
- Collaborate with the designer on custom layouts and modifications
- Clearly explain inclusions, exclusions, delivery details, council requirements, and installation responsibilities
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, documents, and lead progress
- Issue and revise quotes, sales agreements, and variation forms
- Assist in collecting and tracking deposits (10% → 30% → 30% → 30% final balance)
- Liaise with accounts regarding invoices and payment confirmations
- Provide a warm, professional, educational experience aligned with TTH brand values
- Keep display homes clean, presentable, and ready for walkthroughs
- Represent Teeny Tiny Homes at expos and events (occasional weekends)
- Be a confident ambassador for our products, values, and customer-first culture
Skills & Experience
- Previous sales experience (property, construction, automotive, caravans, or similar preferred)
- Strong communication skills — phone, email, SMS, face-to-face
- Ability to build rapport quickly and earn trust
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- Comfortable working with CRMs, quoting tools, and spreadsheets
- Interest in tiny homes, building, or real estate (advantage, but not essential)
Salary, Incentives & Benefits
- $30 - $40 per hour (full-time or part-time considered)
- Performance Bonuses: Monthly incentives for hitting sales and conversion targets
- Commission Structure: Extra rewards for exceeding KPIs
- Work Hours: This position requires working Saturdays, with a weekday off in lieu
- Career Growth: Future pathways into Senior Sales, Sales Manager, or Business Development roles
- Training Provided: Full training on models, inclusions, layouts, pricing, and our TTH sales process
