We're looking for a Health and Wellbeing Advisor to join our People and Culture team. In this role, you'll focus on creating a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace where our people can thrive. This role has a particular emphasis on mental health, psychosocial safety, and overall wellbeing in a corporate and contact centre environment.
You'll also help us expand and embed the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) function across the wider Symbos group, including geographies outside Australia.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Wellbeing Advocate - Lead initiatives that support employee mental health, resilience, and psychosocial safety, ensuring our people feel supported in the challenges of debt collection work.
- WHS Partner - Coordinate audits, compliance requirements, and annual policy reviews while supporting our ongoing requirements to ISO 45001 standards.
- Program Coordinator - Oversee committees, inspections, training, and registers, ensuring key WHS and wellbeing processes are delivered on time.
- Global Builder - Develop and expand the WHS function across Symbos Group geographies, helping establish frameworks that balance compliance with a strong focus on wellbeing.
What You'll Bring;
- WHS Knowledge - A solid understanding of workplace health and safety, with a strong interest in psychosocial safety and wellbeing. A minimum requirement of a Diploma in the relevant field, and ISO Auditor certification would be an advantage.
- Strong Communicator - Excellent written and verbal communication skills that build trust and influence across the business.
- Organisational Skills - Proven ability to coordinate programs, manage competing priorities, and keep WHS activities on track.
- Relationship Builder - Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline staff to senior leaders, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
What's In It For You;
- Influence and Impact – Shape how we support the wellbeing and safety of our people while building a scalable WHS framework for the future.
- Career Growth - Gain exposure to multiple industries and broaden your experience with a business that is expanding its global footprint.
- Meaningful Work - Play a central role in improving health, safety, and wellbeing for employees across Australia and beyond.
- Hybrid work mode - split your time between our well-located Melbourne offices, and WFH days.
