Your role with us:

Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you'll help shape and schedule content that's engaging, on-brand, and platform-native. You'll contribute to creative briefs, pitch timely content ideas, and keep things running smoothly across our channels. You'll also keep a pulse on what's trending, monitor how our audience is reacting, and jump into conversations to build community and connection. What you will do:

  • Create and pitch platform-native, trend-driven content that captures attention and drives engagement.
  • Support content planning and scheduling to ensure timely, consistent posts aligned with campaign goals.
  • Collaborate on creative briefs with the Social Media Manager and content creators for both planned and reactive content.
  • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, audience feedback, and engagement opportunities.
  • Engage directly with followers, responding to comments and fostering a strong online community.
  • Track and report on performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, growth) to inform future strategies.
  • Stay across trends and platform updates to help keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure content is on-brand and aligned with broader marketing initiatives.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and a basic understanding of social media management tools.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to social media trends and best practices
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience in social media planning, scheduling, or management a plus
