The Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Specialist coordinates Council's IP&R requirements to ensure compliance with and demonstrate best practice in the NSW Government's IP&R Framework.
The role is a senior member of the Corporate Planning and Reporting team and is responsible for managing preparation of Council's IP&R documents, research and analysis to inform these documents, and implementation of Council's Service Review Framework.
The role will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure Council's IP&R activities contribute to the achievement of the city's and Council's vision and goals.
What this exciting role will do:

Lead the development of Council's Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) Framework documents to meet legislative requirements, utilising project management best-practice.

Maintain and enhance Council's Service Review Framework to ensure services are efficient, effective and aligned with the community's evolving needs and expectations.

Develop business and functional requirements and implement technology improvements to support the implementation of the IP&R Framework.

Manage community research programs to facilitate ongoing monitoring and review of Council's IP&R documents.

Deliver robust business analysis on research outputs that provides valuable insights and recommendations, facilitates communication and decision-making and contributes to shaping future IP&R improvement initiatives.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with senior management and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure Council's IP&R activities contribute to the achievement of the city's and Council's vision and goals.

Degree qualification and high-level relevant experience and qualifications, in a discipline such as business, strategy and policy, project management or communications

Highly developed oral and written communication skills including presentation, facilitation, and production of clear and concise documents targeted appropriately at a variety of audiences

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
-
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams, including presenting concepts, gaining cooperation and influencing others to achieve organisational objectives

Proven ability to work under pressure and flexibly manage changing priorities, whilst maintaining a positive and professional demeanour

Highly developed organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

Competitive salary from $2,129.39 to $2,474.69 per week + 12% superannuation

Commencing salary set in line with skills and experience with annual reviews available to support movement through the salary range

Enterprise Agreement pay increases apply

35 hour working week with ability to work over 4 days
