Commercial plumbing Foreman

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled Commercial Foreman Plumber to join the Peak Group team in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. As a fulltime Commercial Foreman , you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of high-quality plumbing work on commercial construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate a team of plumbers to ensure efficient and effective completion of all plumbing work on site
• Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and other trade supervisors to ensure seamless integration of plumbing activities with the overall construction schedule
• Interpret and implement plumbing designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and standards
• Monitor and maintain quality control of plumbing works, making adjustments as necessary
• Provide on-site training and mentorship to junior plumbers to develop their skills and expertise
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to project progress, budget, and safety

What we're looking for

• Completed trade qualification in plumbing, with a strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex plumbing issues
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plumbing designs, drawings, and specifications
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Proficient in the use of plumbing tools and equipment, as well as relevant software and technology
