Mechanical Fitters
to be part of our clients team working within the biggest fabrication workshop of its kind You'll get hands-on experience working on exciting, high-profile projects with a great team of people

What you'll be doing:

  • Measure and inspect critical journals and bores
  • Fitting of bearings, shafts, and couplings, ensuring correct alignment and clearance using precision instruments.
  • Conduct inspections of bearings and pinions
  • Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process
  • Working closely with a supportive team
  • Using and guiding overhead cranes
  • Following all safety rules on site
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings and plans

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in bearing installations, pulley installations and alignments
  • Experience with Process Plants, balanced machines, Structural, Mechanical and Piping works
  • Someone with strong measuring skills and attention to detail
  • Good problem solver and decision maker who works well with others
  • Holds the right tickets:
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate - Fitting (essential)
  • EWP & Working at Heights (within the last 2 years)
