Rare opportunity for a creative, experienced Merchandise Product Manager with Sportswear and/or Apparel background to join New Balance Australia on our epic growth journey

Responsibilities include:

Product Strategy & Merchandising

  • Build and manage seasonal apparel assortments for wholesale and DT, aligning ranges with global direction, APAC strategy, and local market needs
  • Present seasonal line plans and product direction to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct post-season reviews and apply insights to future planning
  • Ensure all GTM materials and product data are accurate and timely.

Market & Consumer insight

  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior
  • Support Key Account Managers with sell-in/sell-through performance

Pricing & Margin Management

  • Meet pricing and margin benchmarks through strategic planning
  • Oversee sample budgets and ensure efficient sample distribution

Forecasting & Operations

  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations to deliver accurate forecasts
  • Manage product lifecycle, style master files, and sample inventory

DTC & Licensing Support

  • Partner with DTC teams to support product needs and planning
  • Manage apparel output for licensing and promotional partners

Conferences & Presentations

  • Represent Apparel at conferences and key account meetings

Success looks like

  • Hitting margin, profit, and pricing benchmarks
  • Delivering aligned, effective assortments across ANZ
  • Driving strong sell-through and market performance
  • Building a top-tier Apparel team and culture.
