BMT is seekingskilled and experienced defence professionals in
Program Management
to support our maritime sustainment programs in Australia. We are looking for individuals to join our team in
Perth
, who can play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of defence projects, while also supporting program governance, performance, and contractual compliance. Your work at BMT will have a direct impact on national defence and security, ensuring the safety of our maritime assets.

Key Responsibilities
In these roles you will:

• Oversee daily program and project execution, monitoring cost, schedule, and risk across multiple workstreams.
• Develop comprehensive project and program plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Provide leadership and coordination across multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, maintenance, supply chain, and commercial.
• Effectively engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, including defence authorities and naval personnel.
• Support engineering tasks using your strong technical background in the maritime domain.
• Develop and maintain program and project budgets, dashboards, and reporting to key stakeholders.
• Lead program-wide risk and issue management and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

About You
To be successful in this role, you should:

• Extensive experience in Project or Program Management within the defence or maritime sector.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or Engineering.
• A strong understanding of defence maritime systems, engineering frameworks, and ASDEFCON contracting.
• Proven leadership ability in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• The ability to hold and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
