The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Site Engineer to join our team. With your expertise, you will direct, control and administer projects to ensure they are successfully delivered on time and within budget. Your strength lies in planning and scheduling construction activities, as well as supervising and coordinating resources onsite (Ivanhoe, VIC) to drive projects from inception to completion. With your expertise, you will supervise and coordinate all resources (both internal & contractors) and also provide financial assessments to ensure planning and budgeting activities meet corporate goals.

This role will require you to work a combination of Day (7am to 5pm) and Night (3pm to 12am) shifts.

This position is further supported by our talented team of people including Project Managers, Supervisors and Field Crew.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical), Construction Management or equivalent
  • From 2-3 years' experience in Civil Construction, ideally with exposure to wastewater.
  • Exceptional technical skills and problem solving ability
  • Strong Project Management capabilities.
  • Experience managing daily on-site activities and the ability to resolve issues that may arise
  • Computer literacy with project management systems and software (Excel, MS Project, CAD)
  • Exposure to rail/road culverts, wastewater, stormwater and/or potable water networks is beneficial to the role
