We're seeking a registered architect to join our dynamic small architectural practice as both a senior design professional and team leader. This dual role offers the opportunity to shape both our creative output and team culture while working on diverse and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor our architectural team of professionals
  • Oversee project delivery from concept through completion
  • Maintain client relationships and participate in business development
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and quality standards
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and support professional development
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and regulatory bodies

Essential Requirements

  • Registered architect with 5+ years post-graduation experience
  • Demonstrated team leadership and project management experience
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD software suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Current knowledge of building codes and planning regulations
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in small team environments

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with residential projects
  • Business development or client acquisition experience (not critical)
