The Opportunity
This Senior Accountant opportunity is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a parental-leave cover. This is a rare opportunity to work for a leading ASX-listed company in their field. You'll get to support with the monthly reporting work and will have broad exposure across the business in a collaborative, dynamic finance team. This role offers 3 days working from home.
The ChallengeReporting to the Associate Director of Group Reporting, your responsibilities will include:
- Support the preparation and review of monthly Corporate Head Office reporting.
- Assist in processing general ledger transactions, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Maintain and update fixed asset registers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with capitalisation policies.
- Contribute to the preparation of cash flow forecasts and month-end intercompany balance confirmations.
- Collaborate on ad hoc tasks and projects as directed by the Associate Director of Group Reporting.
*The Expertise*
- Ideally, you are immediately available to commence a new role.
- You have minimum 3 years' experience working in an accounting function, preferably within a medium-large company or coming out of professional services.
- You are CPA or CA qualified, or working towards full qualification.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are excited by fast-growing, dynamic work environments and enjoy working towards a common goal together.
