We're looking for Bar Staff to join our flagship MECCA Bourke Street store and bring our brand experience to life through exceptional service and hospitality. This isn't just about serving drinks or hosting guests, you'll be a storyteller, host, and brand ambassador who elevates every interaction through energy, care, and attention to detail.

From crafting premium cocktails and beverages to hosting guests with genuine warmth, you'll create moments that leave a lasting impression. You'll move seamlessly across service touchpoints, supporting both the café and retail floor to deliver a cohesive and memorable customer journey.

Day-to-day responsibilities:  

• Preparing and serving specialty cocktails and beverages to company standards

• Engaging with customers in a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable manner

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

• Monitoring stock levels, rotating inventory, and assisting with restocking

• Working collaboratively with retail and café team members to support integrated in-store experience

• Creating a space that feels elevated, inclusive, and brand-aligned

• Handling customer feedback with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach

• Supporting opening and closing procedures as required

Requirement of the role 

• Availability to work late evenings and weekends (Thursday - Sunday)

What success looks like in this role:  

• Previous hospitality experience (café, restaurant, or bar)

• A natural people-person with great communication and teamwork skills

• Confident multitasker who thrives under pressure

• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail

• Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed

• Relevant RSA qualification (Responsible Service of Alcohol) preferred but not essential
